Core Laboratory Medical Technologist

Apply clinical chemistry and hematology expertise at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ontario, with regular part-time Core Laboratory shifts. Transfusion Medicine knowledge is required.
This Medical Laboratory Technologist position supports the Laboratory - Core Lab department. Current CMLTO registration and recent Core Laboratory experience are required. The work includes testing, calibration, quality control, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with departmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform testing in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine
Calibrate equipment and maintain reagents according to procedures
Complete quality control and troubleshooting activities
Follow hospital, laboratory, and departmental safety standards
Handle essential tasks as assigned by department needs
Requirements:
Current registration with the CMLTO
Recent experience in a Core Laboratory setting
Strong knowledge of Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine
Basic computer, keyboarding, and MS Windows skills
Fluent English and reliable attendance, punctuality, and availability
