Advise on GDPR, CCPA, and data protection compliance as Privacy Counsel supporting legal and commercialization work. Apply privacy law expertise across organizational activities.
This Privacy Counsel position focuses on data protection laws, privacy regulations, and compliance programs. You will develop policies, assess project risks, review contracts, and support breach response. The role also includes regulator engagement and monitoring evolving privacy requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance on GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations
Design and implement data protection policies and compliance programs
Evaluate project privacy risks and implement appropriate controls
Draft and review privacy provisions in contracts
Support breach response and regulator communications
Requirements:
Juris Doctor degree with privacy or cybersecurity law specialization
Experience with international privacy frameworks
Bring privacy counseling, compliance program development, and regulatory guidance to data protection work as Privacy Counsel.
