Industrial Automation Digital Bid Director
ABB
Direct complex digital bids for ABB across industrial automation, analytics, and digital services while working hybrid three days per week.
This leader coordinates cross-functional and geographically distributed teams in a matrix organization. The position connects customers, sales teams, suppliers, legal, compliance, and internal stakeholders through the proposal process. Its focus is quality, compliance, profitability, and stronger bid-to-win performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate competitive technical and commercial proposals
Ensure compliant submissions meet established procedures
Collaborate with customers, sales, and suppliers
Maintain accurate assumptions, decisions, and outcomes
Improve bid quality and win rates
Requirements:
12+ years in industrial automation or digital solutions
Experience with large, complex, multi-technology bids
Bachelor of Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of APM, APC/RTO, MES, EMS, and Digital IOT
Ability to lead distributed teams in matrix organizations
Use industrial automation expertise, stakeholder leadership, and digital bid coordination to strengthen ABB’s compliant, profitable proposal execution.
