Overnight Distribution Centre Team Lead
Sobeys
Lead overnight grocery distribution operations with Sobeys, using safety leadership and productivity oversight across selection, loading, and support teams. Weekend availability is required.
As Team Lead, Operations, you will report to the Shift Lead Operations and direct selection, loading, forklift, and support staff. The role supports accurate product selection for Sobeys stores and affiliates while promoting safe, productive work. You will use EXE, SAP, WMS, and Microsoft Office to monitor performance, complete inspections, and improve distribution centre operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise selection, loading, forklift, and support staff
Maintain EXE productivity and review productivity reports
Complete accurate health and safety checklists
Coach, counsel, and discipline employees as required
Implement revised programs, standards, and safety practices
Requirements:
Minimum two years’ Retail Support Centre experience
Material Handling Equipment experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EXE, SAP, and WMS
Ability to supervise and performance manage a team
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Bring warehouse supervision, productivity analysis, and safety leadership to Sobeys’ overnight distribution operations serving stores and affiliates.
