Use transportation parts expertise and supervisory experience to oversee BME’s warehouse, shop, and Shipping and Receiving operations in Fort McKay.
Birch Mountain Enterprises needs an experienced Parts Technician supporting its Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will manage parts ordering, receiving, distribution, inventory organization, and daily support-staff direction. The position serves business, facility, and equipment needs while maintaining professional service for internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily activities of Shipper/Receiver support staff
Organize parts-room locations, labels, and inventory catalogues
Provide maintenance management software implementation support
Support maintenance budgeting as directed by management
Inspect operations, identify deficiencies, and correct issues
Requirements:
Three to five years’ parts technician experience in transportation
Previous supervisory experience
Knowledge of various trucking-industry aspects
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
Bring transportation knowledge, leadership, and inventory organization skills to Birch Mountain Enterprises’ maintenance operations in Fort McKay.
