AISH Financial Eligibility Specialist

Use AISH program knowledge and financial assessment skills in a full-time remote position serving applicants across Alberta.
This Program Eligibility Assessor role reports to the Disability Income Assistance Team Lead. You will assess initial financial eligibility for AISH and ADAP by examining income, assets, and documents. Your work supports timely, accurate, and well-documented decisions for Albertans.
Key Responsibilities:
Determine financial eligibility for ADAP and AISH programs
Gather additional information and required documentation
Explain decisions when requirements are not met
Maintain accurate and complete eligibility information
Provide respectful service during challenging circumstances
Requirements:
Two-year diploma in a related field
No experience required under stated minimum qualifications
Knowledge of investment types including RRSPs and RDSPs
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, Word, Outlook, SharePoint
Experience with Income Support, AISH, or ADAP preferred
Bring careful financial review, AISH knowledge, and clear applicant communication to this remote Alberta Public Service assignment.
