Ferrovial Winter Equipment Operator

Work with Ferrovial company Webber on winter infrastructure maintenance, operating heavy equipment while communicating clearly and prioritizing safety.
This seasonal position serves snow plow and equipment operations from October through April. The incumbent maintains contracted assets through heavy equipment use, especially during snow plow operations. Responsibilities include road, bridge, surface, sign, guardrail, fence, and lighting maintenance. You must recognize hazards, follow instructions, wear required PPE, and adjust actions to prevent injury, loss, or accidents.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate snow removal and sanding equipment during winter operations
Apply salt and perform seasonal road and bridge maintenance
Maintain signs, fences, lighting, reflectors, and related assets
Establish and remove traffic control setups
Complete assigned duties and emergency response rotations
Requirements:
Valid Ontario Class DZ driver’s license required
AZ license is an additional qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least one year of related equipment experience
Ability to follow changing priorities and procedures
Use your DZ license, heavy equipment experience, and safety focus supporting Webber’s Ontario infrastructure operations.
