Manufacturing Team Leader Trainee Afternoons

Build manufacturing leadership skills at Napoleon in Barrie while working Monday to Friday afternoons and learning production problem solving.
This temporary classification prepares Associates for a Team Leader role in manufacturing or logistics. Reporting to a Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager, you will job shadow leaders, understand company policies, apply LEAN principles, and learn attendance tracking through HRIS. The permanent vacancy is actively recruiting.
Key Responsibilities:
Job shadow Team Leaders during departmental activities
Observe and assist with production problem solving
Help eliminate roadblocks affecting manufacturing production
Study policies, ISO, and applicable legislation
Apply LEAN principles, including 5S methodology
Requirements:
High school diploma or four to five years’ relevant experience
Minimum four years’ manufacturing environment experience
Previous leadership experience is preferred
Ability to learn Microsoft Office and MRP systems
Ability to teach others and learn new methods
Develop manufacturing leadership, LEAN, problem-solving, and HRIS skills as a Team Leader trainee at Napoleon’s Barrie facility.
