Licensed Practical Nurse Outpatient Procedures

Provide outpatient nursing care at Jim Pattison Outpatient Care & Surgery Centre in Surrey, B.C., using assessment and documentation skills. This relief full-time assignment continues until October 2027, or the incumbent returns.
Fraser Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for oscopy, minor surgical procedures, wound care, and consultations. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document practical nursing care throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedure periods. The position follows BCCNM standards and established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and document care throughout outpatient procedure periods
Assist patient admissions to procedure and consultation rooms
Monitor patient conditions, safety, and comfort during procedures
Report patient information and feedback to supervisors or physicians
Participate in quality improvement, education, and team activities
Requirements:
Current BCCNM practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse
One year recent relevant outpatient or minor procedure experience
Relevant coursework or certification, or equivalent preparation
Current basic cardiac life support certification
Physical ability to perform position duties
