Part-Time rTMS Therapy Technician
Ontario Shores Centre for MHS
Deliver rTMS brain stimulation therapy in Whitby while configuring digital equipment and supporting patients with psychiatric illness. This part-time role follows Monday to Friday day shifts.
As an rTMS Technician, you will serve in a tertiary care mental health facility for inpatients and outpatients. You will report to the Clinical Manager and Medical Head of the Brain Stimulation Service. The work includes patient preparation, treatment observation, documentation, and equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, configure, and operate rTMS equipment
Provide scheduled rTMS therapy to patients
Arrange motor threshold testing and psychiatrist visits
Verify consent and review relevant clinical information
Observe treatments and report safety concerns
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in a related field
Knowledge of digital rTMS equipment preferred; training provided
Working knowledge of Meditech and Microsoft Office
CPR HCP certification
Excellent communication, organization, and data-entry skills
Support patient care through rTMS therapy, accurate documentation, equipment operation, and attentive treatment observation in Whitby.
