Wright Tree Service of Canada-Requires forestry operations experience-Must hold a heavy truck driver's license-Chainsaw experience required-Involves remote work and travel requiredTitle : Heavy Equipment OperatorType : Full-Time/Non-ExemptReports to : General ForepersonEssential Functions :Operate various equipment for general site preparation, landscaping, and related assignments.Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.Load and unload equipment from trailers.Perform routine inspection and general maintenance on equipment.Perform other duties as assigned or needed.Minimum Requirements :Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement and clean driving record.Ability to reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 50 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of timeExperience operating heavy equipment is preferred.Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.Must be dependable, punctual and have a strong work ethicMust be detail oriented and have good communication skillsAbility to read and complete daily paperworkOccasional overtime required including some Saturdays
