Recycling Yard Heavy Equipment Operator

Keep recycling yard operations moving by sorting metals, managing traffic flow, and operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Interpro Prairie Recycling Inc. is seeking an Equipment Operator to support ferrous material handling across the yard. The position works alongside scale operators, office staff, and yard personnel to coordinate unloading, loading, and resources. You will operate equipment, maintain stockpiles, inspect fluids, use radio devices, and complete required records. Safety, customer focus, and efficient work practices are required.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate equipment supporting essential yard activities
Stockpile and sort metals into designated locations
Coordinate tasks and resources using handheld radios
Load trucks with proper weights and safe practices
Maintain traffic flow and minimize yard congestion
Requirements:

Knowledge of yard operations and ferrous classifications
At least one year of recent equipment operation experience
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and self-motivated approach
Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Use equipment operation, customer focus, and teamwork to maintain safe material handling and productive recycling yard activities.
