Deliver packages safely for FedEx as a Seasonal Courier, using route planning, customer service, and computerized tracking systems. This temporary assignment lasts up to 12 weeks.
FedEx seeks a Seasonal Courier to provide courteous, efficient pickup, delivery, and related customer service on an assigned route. You will inspect shipments, confirm Federal Express Canada features of service, maintain package security, and operate dispatch systems. No experience is required, while one year of customer service is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and pick up packages safely and efficiently
Inspect shipments, labels, paperwork, and stop counts
Load vehicles and plan routes for efficient service
Answer customer questions about shipping requirements
Operate tracking, dispatch, scanning, and sorting systems
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Full valid Class G license; G2 is not acceptable
No experience required for this courier position
One year of customer service experience preferred
Ability to follow safety procedures and government regulations
Use safe driving, accurate shipment handling, and customer service skills as a temporary FedEx Seasonal Courier.
