Provide personal care in Beausejour homes while supporting client safety, independence, comfort, privacy, and respect. Work days, evenings, and weekends.
Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a Home Care Attendant for its Home Care department. Under a Home Care Resource Coordinator, you will follow care plans, policies, and program standards. You will work within a multidisciplinary health care team serving residents throughout the Interlake-Eastern region.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal and supportive care according to care plans
Support clients remaining independent and safe at home
Meet identified client needs through program standards
Collaborate with health team members on integrated care
Promote holistic services responsive to resident needs
Requirements:
Health Care Aide certificate from an accredited college
Previous elderly or infirm care experience preferred
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and coworkers
Work independently and within a health care team
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle access
Bring personal care, critical thinking, and organized teamwork to Home Care clients served by Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority.
