AgeCare seeks a Personal Support Worker to provide care according to resident care plans. You will help identify needs, monitor care, document information, and support safe, secure surroundings. The work includes collaboration with supervisors and participation in directed education.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide resident care according to established care plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document resident care information as directed
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
Follow infection prevention and control policies
Requirements:
Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Understand simple treatments and bedside care techniques
Know sanitation, cleaning, and geriatric resident needs
