Digital Banking Product Owner
Coastal Community
Shape digital banking and payments products remotely anywhere in British Columbia, using backlog management and member-focused prioritization. Guide secure, accessible experiences from strategy through continuous improvement.
As Product Owner, Digital & Payments, you will own Coastal Community’s member-facing digital banking and payment products. You will define requirements, manage roadmaps, coordinate delivery, and translate member insights, regulatory needs, and technology opportunities into measurable outcomes. The work spans stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and maintain product backlogs aligned with member and business objectives
Define epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements
Lead discovery, roadmap planning, delivery, launches, and optimization
Support testing, release readiness, issue triage, and post-implementation reviews
Monitor adoption, performance, feedback, and product outcomes
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in business, technology, finance, or related field
Product Owner certification or designation, such as CSPO or PSPO
At least five years’ relevant product, banking, payments, or delivery experience
Agile delivery experience with backlogs, user stories, ceremonies, and releases
Strong facilitation, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills
