MSS Security seeks experienced Control Room Operators for the University of Melbourne. The role covers incident response, access control, visitor management, emergency response, and daily phone inquiries. You will coordinate security personnel and emergency services while making quick decisions in a fast-paced control room setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor surveillance systems throughout the University of Melbourne
Manage incident responses and coordinate required communications
Coordinate security personnel with emergency services
Oversee access control and visitor management processes
Respond to emergencies and handle daily phone inquiries
Requirements:
At least two years of control room security experience
Current Victorian Security Licence with Control Room Endorsement
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
Full Australian Working Rights and current drivers licence
Availability for a 24/7 rotating roster and required checks
