Experienced Drill Core Cutter
Matrix Camps and Logistics
Apply drill core cutting experience to MATRIX projects while supporting geological programs and maintaining safe, organized work areas.
This experienced Core Cutter reports to the Camp Manager across various projects. The work includes core cutting, geological and geophysical program support, site orientation, Toolbox meetings, and safe job procedures. Candidates need at least one year in drill core cutting, chainsaw experience, and strong English communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform drill core cutting across assigned project activities
Support geological and geophysical programs in the field
Participate in orientation, Toolbox meetings, and Mock Medivacs
Maintain housekeeping, PPE availability, and safe work practices
Report incidents, accidents, and unsafe conditions immediately
Requirements:
Minimum one year of drill core cutting experience
Experience operating chainsaws for tree falling requirements
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to work independently on rotation schedules
Ability to lift 50 pounds and sustain physical shifts
Bring drill core cutting, field safety, and geological program support experience to MATRIX projects under the Camp Manager.
