Healthcare Equipment Installation Specialist
STERIS Corporation
Healthcare equipment installation demands mechanical assembly, utility connections, and technical problem-solving across customer sites throughout Atlantic Canada. This full-time, permanent role includes approximately 50% travel.
As an Installer with STERIS, you will deliver complete installations under an Installation Project Manager’s direction. You will coordinate with project managers, contractors, and customers while following project plans, specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols. The work supports healthcare and life sciences environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule installations alongside deliveries, customers, and construction timelines
Verify site dimensions, utilities, access routes, and delivered equipment
Uncrate, assemble, position, level, connect, and test STERIS products
Complete electronic service documentation and daily project updates
Resolve customer questions and complete post-installation site preparation
Requirements:
Associate’s degree plus one year of related experience
High School Diploma/GED plus five years of related experience
Valid driver’s license and computer proficiency with Windows software
Fluent English and strong customer communication skills
Ability to lift 110 pounds and travel approximately 50%
