This casual Physiotherapist, Practice Support position reports to the Manager and works with regional Therapy Services Coordinators. You will assess, develop, and provide clinical and educational strategies supporting patient care. The role includes individualized support, knowledge translation, student supervision, and coaching across Island Health.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop educational strategies supporting physiotherapy patient care
Implement practice standards for inpatient services
Implement practice standards for outpatient services
Use systems approaches to promote coaching cultures
Advance physiotherapy practice through clinical support
Requirements:
Three years recent relevant physiotherapy experience
Experience implementing education strategies and knowledge translation
Experience supervising physiotherapy students
Eligibility for Canadian Association of Physiotherapists membership
Advanced computer and electronic resource skills
Use clinical education, facilitation, and knowledge translation capabilities to improve physiotherapy practice and patient care at Island Health.
