Support primary learning in Mission as a bilingual Classroom Teacher at École Christine Morrison Elementary. Teach Grade 1/2 French Immersion students in a temporary 0.8 FTE assignment.
The Mission Public School District is hiring for a scheduled classroom teaching assignment. Candidates need recent successful Primary or Intermediate experience and French qualifications through B2 DELF skills or the district exam. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through June 30, 2027, or until the incumbent returns fully or partially.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide required instruction in the classroom
Teach students at the Grade 1/2 level
Use French for written student communication
Use English for written parent communication
Communicate orally in French and English
Requirements:

Bachelor of Education and/or PDP
Recent successful teaching at Primary or Intermediate levels
B2 level DELF French communication skills
District French qualifications exam completion accepted
Current BC Teaching Certificate or TQS information
