This Industrial Instrumentation Technician classification supports equipment, machinery, controls, facilities, and infrastructure associated with the trade. The work includes fabrication, assembly, operation, installation, commissioning, maintenance, testing, and repair. You will also support preventive maintenance, records, permits, switching procedures, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications for equipment work
Diagnose malfunctions and take required corrective action
Troubleshoot, maintain, test, and repair industrial control systems
Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain records
Inspect, service, and operate specialized tools and equipment
Requirements:
Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Instrument Technician Certificate or equivalent
Ability to perform the position's physical requirements
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to cooperate and deal tactfully with others
Valid Class 5 driver's licence
Use industrial instrumentation, troubleshooting, and control systems expertise supporting SaskPower operations in Estevan with safety accountability.
