Specialty Solutions Underwriter II

Analyze commercial insurance quotes and renewals as a Specialty Solutions Underwriter II with BrokerLink, supporting brokers across Canada.
This Underwriter II position focuses on specialty insurance underwriting and rating activities. You will evaluate requests, recommend solutions, prepare quotes, and handle policy transactions. The role also requires broker support, relationship management, and collaboration with Specialty Solutions and Intact divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze quote, renewal, and policy change requests
Recommend underwriting solutions and support broker inquiries
Rate and prepare new business and renewal quotes
Handle renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
Recommend process improvements and support department expansion
Requirements:
University degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience
Minimum two years of relevant experience
Strong Excel knowledge considered an asset
Analytical, self-motivated, and high-standard approach
CIP designation or progress toward completion
Bring analytical underwriting, broker relationship, rating, and communication skills to BrokerLink’s Specialty Solutions team.
