Marine Construction Lead

The Marine Lead plans and leads construction activities in aquatic environments. This position develops execution methods, identifies equipment requirements, and coordinates specialist subcontractors. It also connects marine work with land-based construction while incorporating hydraulic conditions, access constraints, and environmental requirements into planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan construction activities in aquatic environments
Lead execution methods for assigned construction work
Identify specialised equipment requirements with relevant teams
Coordinate specialist subcontractors and land-based interfaces
Monitor safety, quality, costs, and progress
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in civil engineering or construction
Equivalent experience may be considered
Experience managing marine, river, or hydraulic construction
Knowledge of floating equipment and aquatic construction methods
Ability to anticipate operational and environmental risks
Bring aquatic construction leadership, subcontractor coordination, and risk awareness to impactful infrastructure projects with Aecon.
