Strategic Sourcing Specialist Healthcare

Lead strategic sourcing for HMMS Healthcare Materials Management in London, Ontario, applying negotiation and business analysis expertise. This is a temporary full-time assignment.
Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Sourcing, the Sourcing Specialist leads competitive bidding for defined customer groups. The work supports healthcare supply chain operations across Southwestern Ontario. You will develop sourcing strategies, analyze markets, and provide procurement expertise while pursuing measurable savings and compliant contracting outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead competitive sourcing initiatives under applicable legislation and policies
Develop RFx documents and facilitate evaluation committees
Conduct supplier and market analysis for sourcing decisions
Support supplier negotiations and contract finalization
Recommend sourcing strategies based on customer requirements
Requirements:
Diploma in Business
Three to five years purchasing, negotiating, or facilitating experience
Understanding of healthcare supply chain leading practices
Strong business analysis, communication, and organizational skills
Experience leading complex projects producing savings or process improvement
Apply strategic sourcing, negotiation, and healthcare supply chain knowledge to deliver compliant procurement outcomes for HMMS customers.
