Production Planning and Scheduling Planner

Production planning expertise meets Lactalis Canada’s dairy manufacturing operations, coordinating schedules, materials, and resources across multiple production lines. The position supports Parmalat customers through disciplined inventory planning.
The Production Planner manages production planning and scheduling for finished products. This position analyzes capacities, packaging requirements, inventory, and customer demand. It also coordinates with Sales, Marketing, warehousing, Production, and purchasing while maintaining SAP records and supporting plant efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Create production schedules using capacity and packaging analysis
Balance inventories, productivity, sanitary needs, and maintenance requirements
Plan ingredient and finished goods quantities
Coordinate packaging counts, SAP entries, and purchases
Reconcile plant variances and complete period-end activities
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in Materials Management or related business
Three to five years of production inventory experience
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, logistics software, and SAP
Ability to work with minimal supervision
