Specialty pharmacological treatments define this part-time Registered Nurse position with Bayshore Healthcare in Saskatoon, supporting patients at home or clinics.
Under Specialty Pharma leadership, this Registered Nurse delivers and monitors injectable or oral treatments. The work includes patient assessments, medication teaching, intravenous access, documentation, and adverse-event reporting. Specialized pharmacological training is provided for infusion services, clinical trials, and ongoing nursing education.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop individualized nursing care plans for each patient
Conduct health assessments and medication administration teaching
Obtain peripheral or central intravenous access
Prepare and administer specialized pharmacological treatments
Document conditions and report adverse events promptly
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent
Current provincial nursing registration in good standing
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Exceptional peripheral intravenous initiation skills
Valid driver's license and strong communication skills
