Night Shift Production Supervisor
Canada Bread - Bimbo
Lead night-shift bakery production at Bimbo Canada using strong leadership, safety knowledge, and sound operational judgment. Supervise employees and guide shift activities across production operations.
As Production Supervisor, you will direct production and related activities in a multi-shift, unionized environment. The position requires employee scheduling, performance management, production efficiency, and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices. You will also support product quality and compliance while addressing workplace safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and supervise employees throughout the assigned production shift
Schedule employees and production shifts in unionized operations
Maintain safety, GMP, and compliance standards across production
Improve production efficiency and minimize plant waste
Support accident investigations and injured-worker case management
Requirements:
Relevant post-secondary education
Previous unionized food, dairy, beverage, or packaged-goods experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of health and safety standards
Flexibility for 24-hour, seven-day operations
