Senior Accessible UI UX Designer

Lead accessible UI/UX design for public-sector digital services in Victoria, BC, using user research and evidence-based interaction design.
As a senior individual contributor, you will design complex enterprise and public-facing solutions for ESIT Advanced Solutions, a DXC Technology company. You will apply advanced UI/UX practices across Agile or hybrid delivery environments. Your work will address user needs, business objectives, accessibility requirements, enterprise constraints, and public-sector policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead user experience deliverables for complex enterprise initiatives
Produce prototypes, production-ready interfaces, components, and design patterns
Plan and interpret qualitative and quantitative user research
Ensure designs meet WCAG 2.1 AA or higher
Maintain enterprise UI design systems and standards
Requirements:
Seven years of progressively senior UI/UX design experience
Typically ten or more years on complex digital products
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
Experience as a senior contributor in Agile environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Apply advanced accessible design, research, and interaction expertise to critical digital services supporting British Columbia’s public sector.
