Aerospace Machine Operator Oakville
Collins Aerospace
Operate Fasteners automated machinery onsite in Oakville, producing aircraft parts for Collins Aerospace on a weekday afternoon shift.
As a Machine Operator, you will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor and work within the Advanced Structures team. The position involves loading parts, running machinery, monitoring processes, and inspecting output. You will work alongside a Machinist while supporting troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, 5S activities, and Standard Work Development.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up machinery by loading and unloading aircraft parts
Start and run machinery according to standard procedures
Monitor processes to meet drawing requirements
Inspect produced parts accurately for OSV requirements
Troubleshoot issues and perform preventative maintenance
Requirements:
High school diploma typically required
At least two years of relevant machine operator experience
Manufacturing environment experience
Eligibility to work in Canada
Ability to meet ITAR and CCGP requirements
Bring machine operation, inspection, and troubleshooting experience to Collins Aerospace’s Oakville aircraft-parts manufacturing cell.
