The Assistant Restaurant Manager supervises daily restaurant operations and supports professional employee development. This role focuses on service essentials, brand standards, guest concerns, and financial goals. Candidates need two years of food and beverage leadership experience, pro-serve certification, and POS system experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise employees on the floor and provide operational support
Coach and develop employees to maintain service standards
Contribute to menu, wine, and cocktail development
Respond professionally and promptly to guest concerns
Ensure service essentials and brand standards are followed
Requirements:
Two years of food and beverage leadership experience
Full-service hotel or upscale restaurant experience preferred
Pro-serve certification and POS system experience
Wine knowledge at or above WSET Level 2 an asset
Flexibility for mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
