Industrial Procurement and Inventory Specialist

Manage industrial procurement and inventory for American Iron & Metal, using sourcing, purchase orders, and Maximo to support recycling operations.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will oversee purchasing for parts, equipment, maintenance supplies, services, and operational materials. You will coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, suppliers, and Corporate Procurement to maintain availability, control costs, and follow AIM policies. The work covers sourcing, RFQs, quotation evaluation, purchase orders, delivery follow-up, and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end procurement for operational and maintenance materials
Initiate RFQs and evaluate supplier quotations
Issue purchase orders and expedite deliveries
Monitor inventory levels, reorder points, and stock movements
Update Maximo and investigate inventory discrepancies
Requirements:
At least two years in inventory, purchasing, or materials management
Experience in manufacturing or an industrial environment
Experience managing counts, reorder points, and purchase orders
Working knowledge of inventory systems; Maximo preferred
Comfort using Excel and managing priorities independently
