Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a Registered Nurse for the Acute Care department at Gimli Health Centre. The nurse provides comprehensive care, applies clinical nursing standards, and offers direction to Health Care Aides, Unit Clerks, RN IIs, and LPNs when assigned charge responsibilities. Practice follows professional obligations, legislation, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, residents, and clients
Follow established nursing standards, policies, and procedures
Provide clinical direction when assigned charge responsibilities
Apply the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics
Support Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority values
Requirements:
Active or eligible Manitoba registered nursing licensure
Current Basic Life Support training
One year acute care experience within five years
Clinical nursing competence and effective decision-making ability
Valid Manitoba driver's license and satisfactory checks
Bring acute care practice, clinical judgment, and professional nursing standards to Registered Nurse service at Gimli Health Centre.
