This full-time permanent Hand Therapist position is designed for a Registered Physiotherapist experienced in hand therapy. You will support plastic and orthopedic surgeons while treating post-surgical injuries, pain, swelling, and reduced function. Follow-up care at SE Rehab Health Clinic extends treatment beyond hospital clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and treat clients in plastics and fracture clinics
Support plastic and orthopedic surgeons at Mackenzie Health
Apply splinting and therapeutic exercises for recovery
Manage pain, swelling, sensation, and range of motion
Deliver ongoing rehabilitation and individualized treatment programs
Requirements:
Registration as a Physiotherapist in good standing
Three to five years of hand therapy experience
Experience supporting hospital plastics clinics and surgeons
Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Adaptability with new computer systems and applications
Bring physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise, and hand therapy experience to coordinated upper extremity rehabilitation in Richmond Hill.
