Primary Teacher Literacy Numeracy

Use targeted literacy and numeracy instruction as a temporary, full-time Primary Grade 1/2 teacher at Stitó:s Lá:lém Totí:lt Elementary / Middle School.
The successful teacher will design balanced programs for diverse learners and teach all required subjects. The assignment emphasizes current instructional practices, small-group support, Response to Intervention, and informed team planning. Apply assessment knowledge while supporting academic, social/emotional, and self-regulation needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver balanced literacy instruction meeting diverse learner needs
Deliver balanced numeracy instruction meeting diverse learner needs
Provide targeted small-group literacy and numeracy support
Intervene with struggling learners through an RTI lens
Adjust instruction through adaptations and CBIEPs
Requirements:
Demonstrated teaching qualifications for this primary assignment
Successful targeted literacy instruction experience preferred
Successful targeted numeracy instruction experience preferred
Ability to recognize individual student differences
Commitment to current instructional practices and assessment
Apply strong primary literacy, numeracy, intervention, and individualized planning skills to support Grade 1/2 learners effectively.
