Support Flexible Assertive Community Treatment through psychiatric nursing, injections, and mental health interventions in Kitchener’s adult services.
CMHA WW is recruiting a contract full-time Registered Practical Nurse for an existing vacancy through January 28, 2028. Based at 55 King St. W., the position works Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with flexibility for service needs. You will support adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide flexible, recovery-oriented psychiatric nursing care
Deliver consultation and intervention services for adults
Monitor and manage an assigned client caseload
Educate clients about mental health and wellness
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary FACT team
Requirements:
Eligibility to practice as an RPN in Ontario
Three to five years related community mental health experience
Well-developed assessment and intervention skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and databases
Bring community mental health experience, injection comfort, and collaborative practice to CMHA WW’s FACT nursing team.
