Supportive Living Team Lead
Aptus Treatment Centre
Supportive Living Team Lead work with people experiencing complex needs, using relationship-building and behavioural support skills in person at 60 Disera Drive.
Aptus seeks a full-time contract Team Lead passionate about supporting people with disabilities. You will promote dignity, teach independence, and support behavioural, medical, and personal care needs. The schedule includes Sunday through Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Build respectful relationships recognizing rights, dignity, and well-being
Support choices, decision-making, responsibilities, and reasonable risks
Develop support agreements using Personal Outcome Measures
Teach eating, cooking, bathing, and independence skills
Support meaningful community activities and safe homes
Requirements:
Relevant degree, diploma, equivalent education, or two years’ experience
Experience supporting intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses
Current First Aid, CPR, and Non-violent Crisis Intervention certificates
Valid G or G2 driver’s licence and shuttle van operation
Ability to lift or push objects up to 50 pounds
Bring behavioural support, communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills to Aptus supportive living services at 60 Disera Drive.
