Senior Living Security Officer
NewBridge on the Charles, Inc.
Protect residents and staff as a Security Officer at Hebrew SeniorLife, using patrol, emergency response, and communication skills on-site. Friday through Sunday coverage spans all three shifts, particularly evenings and overnights.
This Security Officer patrols assigned areas and responds to alarms, emergencies, and requests for security assistance. The position supports medical staff during emergencies while respecting members’ dignity and choice. You will help create positive encounters within the assisted living facility and participate in its work and social environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas according to post orders
Respond to alarms and security emergencies
Provide vehicle assistance, door unlocks, and escorts
Support medical staff during emergency situations
Complete special projects as assigned
Requirements:
First Responder certification required
EMT Certification preferred
Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required
Knowledge of security procedures and equipment
Ability to lift, pull, and push 50 pounds
Bring professional judgment, emergency response, and resident-centered service to Hebrew SeniorLife’s on-site security team.
