Drive KENT inventory integrity and customer fulfillment through shipping, order picking, and data-informed retail operations. Lead back-end execution across multiple business lines.
This Assistant Store Manager position focuses on operational support for KENT’s home improvement, Pro, and Install Sales businesses. You will analyze sales, operational, and inventory data while overseeing fulfillment, yard standards, and fleet operations where applicable. The work demands strong communication, customer service, and retail management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze performance data to improve efficiency, service, and profitability
Oversee shipping, order picking, and building materials yard operations
Support product availability and timely customer fulfillment
Manage inventory integrity, shrink, and operational controls
Use D365, Kronos, and Microsoft Office for tracking
Requirements:
Five or more years of retail management experience
Technology skills for project management and problem solving
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Exceptional customer service skills and inventory control knowledge
Openness to continuous improvement and independent learning
Bring retail management, inventory analysis, and fulfillment expertise to help KENT deliver accurate, efficient customer service.
