We’re looking for a CPA Candidate to join our Medicine Hat team.

What You'll Do
Prepare working papers, financial statements, and client reports
Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
Assist with GST returns, payroll, T4s, T5s, and period-end closings
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes
Participate in assurance and audit engagements
Review financial records for accuracy and completeness
Provide accounting, tax, and administrative support to clients and team members
Gain exposure to a wide range of public practice work to support your CPA development
Collaborate with the Principals and professional staff to deliver quality client service
What We're Looking For
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
Currently enrolled in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) or eligible for admission to CPA PEP
Candidates currently completing CPA preparatory requirements toward admission to CPA PEP may also be considered
A desire to build a long-term career in public practice and work toward obtaining the CPA designation
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Experience with CaseWare, Sage 50, QuickBooks/QBO, Simply, TaxPrep, and Microsoft 365 is an asset
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and continuous learning
