Property Casualty Claims Examiner

Property and casualty claims expertise meets fair settlement analysis at Optimum Insurance. This hybrid role includes three office days weekly.
As an intermediate or senior Claims Examiner, you will manage claims from investigation through final resolution. Your work includes reviewing loss documentation, analyzing policy coverage, evaluating damages, and negotiating settlements. You will also communicate with policyholders, brokers, vendors, adjusters, and legal counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate property and casualty claims through final resolution
Review loss details and supporting documentation
Analyze coverage and determine claim eligibility
Evaluate damages and negotiate fair settlements
Authorize payments within established authority levels
Requirements:
College diploma or university degree
Property and casualty claims handling experience
Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Typically three or more years of claims experience
