Radiological Technologist General Radiology
Vancouver Coastal Health
Produce diagnostic radiographs with Vancouver Coastal Health in North Vancouver, using radiologic technology expertise and radiation safety principles. Work on the General Radiology team at Lions Gate Hospital.
This Radiological Technologist position follows CAMRT professional standards within a patient and family-centred care model. You will perform diagnostic procedures independently or alongside Radiologists and physicians, while applying clinical guidelines, documentation practices, and equipment safety procedures. The role supports VCH’s commitments to Indigenous Cultural Safety, Anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and Planetary Health.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce diagnostic radiographs and perform diagnostic procedures
Collaborate with Radiologists and physicians during examinations
Apply radiation safety principles protecting patients, staff, and public
Monitor patients, equipment performance, and examination room cleanliness
Complete documentation, administrative tasks, and assigned research participation
Requirements:
Recognized Medical Radiography program completion
CAMRT certification or OTIMROEPMQ radiodiagnosis certification
Eligibility for Canadian Association membership
Knowledge of PACS, Radiology Information Systems, and electronic health records
Ability to perform radiographic examinations and safe equipment procedures
Apply radiography, patient-centred care, PACS knowledge, and radiation safety skills as a Radiological Technologist at Lions Gate Hospital.
