Long-Term Care Director of Nursing

Lead long-term care clinical operations near Sarnia or Strathroy using nursing leadership, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement expertise. This Director of Care role requires an experienced Registered Nurse.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Care leads nursing and clinical teams within a long-term care home. The role oversees resident care, Ministry standards, clinical outcomes, and resident safety. It also advances quality assurance, risk management, and infection prevention and control.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide oversight of nursing and clinical programs
Ensure compliance with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act
Lead Ministry inspections, audits, and quality initiatives
Coach, develop, and manage clinical staff performance
Monitor outcomes, risks, infection control, and resident safety
Requirements:
Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Three to five years of Long-Term Care leadership experience
Knowledge of LTC regulations and Ministry inspections
Experience with compliance and quality assurance programs
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Bring Registered Nurse leadership, compliance expertise, and quality improvement capability to resident-centered care near Sarnia or Strathroy.
