KGH is seeking additional Anesthesiologists for its 41-member group. The practice provides full-service tertiary referral care across a geographical area larger than France. Members support acute pain services, out-of-OR sedation, obstetrics, paediatrics, trauma, and surgical specialties. KGH is academically affiliated with the University of British Columbia’s Southern Medical Program, offering opportunities to teach medical students and residents and contribute to community education and research.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesiology care in a complex, high-acuity environment
Manage acute pain services and out-of-OR sedation
Fulfill call requirements across diverse clinical specialties
Teach medical students and residents at KGH
Contribute to education and research in the community
Requirements:
Fellowship in Anesthesiology from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada
Meet KGH requirements for hospital privileging
Fulfill call requirements across listed specialty services
Locum for a satisfactory period to evaluate fit
