POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experienced Level I or IIDental Assistant
Open to Grads and experience DA's
Have Harp certification
LOCATION
Hwy 48 & Main St, Stouffville
HOURS
1 or 2 weekdays (Flexible with days)
Mon 10-6
Tues 11-7
Wed 11-8
Thurs 9-3
1-2 Sat a month 8-3
COMPENSATION
$22-$28 negotiable TBDdepending on experience and performance
JOB OVERVIEW
Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
Sterilizing instruments
Assisting dentist with restoration - crowns, bridges,porcelainveneers,fillings,extractions, implants, invisalign
Placement and removal of rubber dams
Taking x-rays of patients' teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
Using suction and swabs to keeppatients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
Taking impressions (depending on experience)
Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentist's reference
Advising patients on dental care, oralhygiene and plaque control programs
Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before,during and after dental treatment
