Etobicoke Industrial Cleaning Custodian

Keep Apotex’s Etobicoke site clean and compliant through industrial sanitation, waste handling, and safe operation of cleaning equipment.
This Custodian position supports a Canadian-based global health company across offices, warehouses, laboratories, production areas, cafeterias, and outdoor spaces. Responsibilities include detailed cleaning, supply replenishment, waste and recycling disposal, winter walkway maintenance, and adherence to established procedures. Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean warehouse floors, shelves, walls, and applicable areas
Wash GMP production, packaging, laboratory, and controlled areas
Maintain cafeterias, food preparation areas, coolers, freezers, and storage
Dispose of garbage and recycling according to proper procedures
Use approved agents and operate cleaning machines and compactors
Requirements:
Grade 12 education
Physical fitness and ability to lift 50 pounds
Good English reading, writing, and comprehension skills
Ability to manage time and complete assigned tasks
Previous cleaning experience preferred
Bring cleaning expertise, time management, and safety awareness to Apotex’s Etobicoke facility operations.
