This Deli Department Manager oversees daily department performance within the store. The position focuses on sales, profitability, associate development, inventory, and merchandising standards. You will communicate with store management while building an inclusive, high-performing department team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day deli department operations
Meet or exceed sales and profitability goals
Train associates in service, products, and merchandising
Coordinate inventory replenishment with other departments
Manage expenses and assist with budget preparation
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred
Previous retail management experience, preferably departmental
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
