About the role
Billyard Insurance Group, located in Brampton, ON, is looking for an Insurance Broker to join our team and serve personal and commercial clients.
Duties
Advise clients on their insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage (auto, home, tenant, commercial, and related lines)
Obtain quotes from insurers and prepare insurance applications and policy documents
Explain policy terms, coverage, exclusions, and premiums to clients
Process renewals, endorsements, changes, and cancellations
Assist clients with claims submissions and follow up with insurers
Maintain accurate client records and meet regulatory and compliance requirements
Develop and maintain client relationships and follow up with prospective clients
Requirements
Secondary school diploma.
Valid Level 1 General Insurance Licence from the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO).
A minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance sales or brokerage
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Working knowledge of brokerage software such as Applied Rating Services, Power Broker Management System, Precision X, Guidewire, Pace, Path Systems and Microsoft Office, etc.
