Support comprehensive patient care as a Dental Assistant at Dentalhouse - Victoria Dental Arts in Belleville, using treatment support and digital imaging skills.
This Dental Assistant position supports dentists and hygienists across preventative, general, cosmetic, and surgical care. You will prepare treatment rooms, take dental X-rays, sterilize instruments, update charts, and help maintain patient comfort. Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
Sterilize instruments and follow IPAC infection control standards
Update patient charts and educate patients on oral hygiene
Requirements:
Registered or certified Dental Assistant with provincial body or association
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Commitment to privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Ethical professional behaviour and strong patient relationships
