Recreation Therapy Assistant Evenings

Support therapeutic programming at Rouleau Manor as a Therapy Assistant working evenings under Recreation Therapist direction. Help clients pursue enrichment and recreation goals.
This temporary full-time position supports the Night Owls Project BW within Recreation Therapy. You will contribute to client quality of life through appropriate interventions, safety support, functional independence, leisure pursuits, boredom reduction, and improved mental health. The position reports to the Director of Care for performance and employment matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic programming under Recreation Therapist direction
Help clients achieve life enrichment and recreation goals
Deliver appropriate interventions supporting client quality of life
Maximize safety and functional independence through therapy support
Support leisure pursuits, boredom reduction, and improved mental health
Requirements:
Graduate from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program
Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is essential
Computer experience is preferred
Availability for temporary full-time evening shifts
